I Don’t Practice Santeria…

Hi Bumblebees!

Today I am bringing you something a little different for me.  You know I am a hair fanatic and throw in messy curls, well you have me at hello; but when I saw this new messy mesh dread look from Milk, I was taken.  As much as I love my tons of sl hairs, truly original ones come far and few between.  Probably because people want the long flowey Hollywood look for their fantasy hair,  but I have always been drawn to original ideas and hairs that represent other cultures, genres or traditions!  This dreaded look was really original and super fun, flattering and crunchy!

Now, Once you have your matted hair all styled it is time to accessorize, toss your 90’s hippy duds to the side and add some trendy yet quirky items to keep the look fun.  I went with some red Cords and a soft grey knit sweater from tee*fy.  For fun I added this bold messenger bag from Kustom 9, the color was bright and I liked the old style telephone theme

Finally, I added some earrings that pulled the colors together and this macrame necklace from Meil.  I guess you can always take the dreads away from the hippy but alas you can’t completely take the hippy away from the dreads 🙂
